[TenTec] Orion PTT question (seriously)

I understand that you can't control cw transmit via
external PTT line on the Orion.  But does the Orion
support PTT control via software command on the comm
port?  I know WriteLog and N1MM Logger both support
this mode, and that's what I normally use on my
unOrion: no break-in, vox or external PTT line needed
for the computer-generated cw.
