Make sure your feed line is cut for 1/4 wave at your lowest band/frequency of
operation.
I don't recommend using the balun in conventional tuners.......they are
voltage type. You always want to current feed an antenna.
Spend a couple of extra bucks...order a B4-2KX...4:1 Current Balun from Radio
Works for multiband operation. The Balun can be placed just outdoors before
entering the house or bring it in the house within 10 to 12 feet of your
station then RG-8 to the tuner.
