Well, I disagree. Let me say this politely....that is a USER problem because
you should NOT be using the AF control while you are in the MENU. There is
absolutely no reason to do that, that I know of. And as Steve said, he only
pressed it by accident.

As far as testing it the exact way Steve asked, when you push either the
MAIN or SUB AF button, you mute the output audio. You regain the audio by
either pushing the AF button again OR by rotating the knob. But when you
push the MENU button and then push the AF knob and then push the MENU button
again, the audio does jump up and you can see it on the audio amplitude
horizontal scale, when you exit the menu. Firmware problem? I would just
slap myself on the forehead and say 'use the MENU the way the instructions
in the manual tells you to use it!'

Nope...let me change my mind, I would report it also, but mainly because it
just might be a problem or part of a problem that has not been solved yet
and could help the programmers in doing some debugging.
