You will need a new kob (quite sure that TT still has some on stock), but then the following mod will solve the problem forever: Exactly at the setscrew mark on the bandswitch shaft drill a 0.1" diameter hole through the shaft (careful ! I used a hand drill ...). The hole does not have to go all the way through the shaft, a dead-end hole about half the way is enough. File the tip of the setscrew to give it the shape of a truncated cone. Now the knob sits tight with minimal pressure on the setscrew. 73 Karl, DJ5IL |
