A review and schematic of it was in a recent ham mag, either QST or CQ, probably QST. It has the basics of a standard Tee net tuner with inductor in shunt leg, but they put caps both in the normal series "hot" leg, and in the input ground leg, with the two ganged together. On the output side, there are two series caps also, one in hot leg at top of coil, and on in ground leg coming off bottom of coil. There are also ferrite cores isolating the input to the tuner to achieve even better balance. Should work well for balanced feeder lines. -Stuart K5KVH |
