If you are seeing battery failure call Ten-Tec and they will send you a new battery. I had a bad battery in mine and it was only one month old. Gene BUHL

My dealer is calling this the "RAM clear procedure"...

I did this at least 10 times but on the top of the screen it was mentioned :

"BATTERY FAILURE" (not "battery test")

Is this supposed to be the right message or not ?

Duane,

If you haven't already, maybe try the memory reset. I certainly don't know
for sure, but that sounds more like a memory problem than a firmware problem
(my guess only). (Hold down VFO B Lock button and power cycle. It comes up
with a 'Battery Test' note, but supposed to reset the memory)
