Hi,
Martin gave me a very good idea. I prepared a video showing my three
S-meters: ORION - MFJ 993 - DAIWA (power supply I used for tests).

You can see this video (or download the zip file) at this page

I excuse me but the size is NOT small (15 seconds of film).
I put three clips on the same screen to reduce the size of file, but ..

I'll appreciate any comment on this problem.

Hi Martin,
(sorry for English mistakes) hi!

As "Power absorption" I mean the current the ORION requires for
transmission.
It is abt 23amps at 13.8 Vdc for 100W output power.
It is abt 14amps at 13.8 Vdc for 50W output power.

I'm sorry but the videos didn't start. I have Quick time software on this
computer.

In any case this is a very good idea. I'll prepare a video.
In next message I'll write the web-address were the video is.

73 for now. Thank you for your help.

Frank,

I don't know what you mean by "power absorption". I
don't see such variations in power output on my analog
meter. If you are using a digital meter, I would
check the meter itself. Does it work stably on some
other transmitter?

For fun I have produced a couple of videos of what I
see on my setup. You can go to
