Did you get it finally?  The cable is a straight thru

Straight thru meaning?

Is one end DTE andd the other DCE ?

 9 pin male on one side and
female on the other.  I have been running my Alpha 99 on the second antenna
jack
(as the auto tunner is on ant one) and have only amp key 2 enabled with no
problems here.  If you do any FSK you need to change the Mark high/low to
the
selection which is not the default to make it work, well, at least I did.
Every
answer seems to be in the manual somewhere, but not always obvious.
