I agree with Al, Vee beams in general that I have made, have worked well as
DX antennas on the bands supported.  That is, you have to have a wavelength
plus to have some gain.   The Ten Tec beams should work well 20m and up and
will work as a kind of doublet below that.  IF you take off the stub
terminations, they are bi directional.  As sold they are unidirectional, but
with lowered stub ends close to ground post, you can move the direction
around by repositioning the grounded stub ends.

A good multi wave vee is like having an array of Yagi beams.
