As Dave/K8BBM mentions, the "T" line was used to
control full QSK amps. That "T" line output existed on
at least the Omni A/B/C/D, the Corsair and the Corsair
II. All of the early Omnis and the Corsair (but not
the Corsair II) also had the accessory output for auto
band switching.

The "T" line is switched directly by a transistor.

The relay controlled amp keying line is switched by a
relay with variable time delay, however that is only
used for non-QSK amps.

Hey Dave!

How do you like your Hercules 444?
I bought one a year ago at a local Hamfest and am very
pleased with it.
Fortunately the finals were OK.
I've got the SD series transistors in the final
instead of the MRF428's.

I did have to do repairs to the QSK circuitry (bought
one of the last vacuum reed relays that TenTec had in
stock). I still need to dig into it cuz I don't get an
auto reset function when the mode operate/standby
switch is cycled after an overload. I've got to kill
AC power in order to reset. I suspect a bad chip on
the control PCB - but that's a minor problem.
I also added a slight time delay to the ovr drive
shutdown circuitry. It was much too fussy.

I've keyed it with both the conventional non-QSK relay
output on my Omni-C and on my Corsair II and with the
"T" line but prefer to use the "T" line.
