As a ham radio licensee, the metric system has been a normal every day thing
of life for me. After all do you recognize 80 meters, 40 meters, 20 meters,
15 meters, 10 meters 5 meters and such? These have always been band
references to wavelength expressed in meters. If you don't recognize such,
perhaps one should mail their ham license back to the FCC with a letter
asking that the license be revoked.
