Hi Caity,

I also caught the opening last night. A pipeline from northern Illinois to
Alabama. Used my new 526 for the first time and it works great. Had to wait
three months for it, and now it appears that it was one of the last, there's an
announcement on the TT website that they've discontinued them.

Nope. I was on the air last night and I probably will
be again later on after my ferrets decide to call it a
night. I'm using a computer that's within the part of
the house where they are allowed to run around :)

Sorry I missed it. A 6N2 (model 526) is top of my
wish list and is something I'll probably pick up at
the Ten Tec hamfest (assuming they have stock). I
currently use a Mizuho SB-2X/LA-2X combo on 2m SSB for
the most part (10W out) and I also have an old Yaesu
FT-290R (original version) that mostly monitors
repeaters. 6m has also been quite good on recent
weekends.

It must be nice to have Ten Tec choices. At the
moment I just have the one, but I'm really very happy
with it.
