I use a switching board, I bring antenna 1 into a 1 into 2 switch this goes
to position 1 on each of the 1 into 6 switches. next antenna 2 comes into a
1 into 2 switch, and this goes to position 2 on both 1 into 6 switches...
and so on.
So how it works is I put the antenna ONE , 1 into 2 switch to either the
orion or the 746 and then put the 1 into 6 switch into antenna 1 and now I
am using antenna one on rig one.
If you want to ue 3 rig you use 1 into 3 switches for each antenna an then
give each rig a 1 into 6 switch.
By the way I actually use the double 1 into 6 switch ( mfj 1708 ) and it
is 2 separate 1X6 switches on the same box, they are not connected
internally. If you want a 6 in /6 out you would connect the 2 commons together
with a
jumper
