[TenTec] Omni VI Options - how do they work?

Interesting on the various steps of options for the Omni VI

Is there a reference that explains what each option level is, and how  
to tell if a rig has them?

An unwell older ham friend has an Omni VI but doesn't know what level  
it is.  I'm not familiar enough with them to tell either.
