You need to try two things first.  Plug stero headphones in to the headphone
jack and see if you now get audio.  You may find that when you remove the
headphones, the problem is now fixed because the normally closed contact on
the headphone jack was just not making connection.

If the headphones work and the speaker still does not work, then plug an
external speaker into the rear external speaker jack and see what happens
there.  It sounds like you radio is working fine you just can't get audio to
the internal speaker.  Heck, the connector could have just come dislodged to
the internal speaker.
