Hello Fellow Ten-Tec Lovers, (for the most part)
I hate to do this BUT: I am offering my RX-340 for sale as I really do not use
it as much as it deserves and I need the money to support my OTHER interest -
Astronomy.
That is not the only reason for selling. The other, significant, reason is
called an ORION II !!! I absolutely LOVE the Orion and it has grabbed "Center
Stage" and 99% of my attention when at my radio desk.
Others have paired up the RX-340 with the Orion and use the N4PY software.
Carl's software is excellent but I never really cared for operating radios,
Ten-Tec or otherwise, via computer control. I much prefer REAL knobbles and
buttonses to their virtual counterparts on the computer monitor.
I purchased the RX-340 new from the factory. I will have to check the date but
it was not more than a year ago.
I just decided to sell the receiver and have yet to decide on a fair price. I
will give this matter some serious thoughtm
