[TenTec] 1208 TRANSVERTER

I built a Ten Tec 6 M Model 1208 transverter back in 97 and used it for a 
year or so and stored it away.  Recently I loaned it to a friend and it 
seems to work okay other than having a number of very strong heterodynes.  I 
don't remember having these but it has been a number of years.  Is this 
common with the 1208 or has anyone else experienced this?  73 Mike K4PI
