I had a similar unexpected experience.  I needed a new power connector for
the Orion because I'd used up the spare in the kit bag and was recabling all
of the station DC with heavier cables.  I called them just to get the right
manuf part number to order from Mouser, but they said "no problem" and a few
days later I had a small packet of them gratis.

It's hardly much of a $$ value, but the service level counts for a lot.
Cost T-T more to mail them than the connectors were worth.
