Dear Tim:

Yes, I would agree that the band switch needs cleaning. We recommend using the Caig Deoxit to clean the switches and Caig Preservit for a lubricant.

Ed, I have a Corsair II that has the same type of switch.
I have never been able to figure out how to do this and would be interested
in any off list replies to you.
I will keep my eyes open for any on list replies.
I do know that TT has a special lube that they use.
DeoxIT by Caig has been said to be what TT uses but I am not sure if it is.
Let me know what you find out.
