I experience the exact same thing when changing to 1.372, etc. That is why
I wonder if the software could be affected by hardware differences.

It sure would be nice if Ten-Tec could reply publically to this issue.
Because I hear this crackling w v2.059 and NOT with v1.373, I have
assumed that this is a firmware issue and NOT a hardware issue and
have been patiently (dumbly?) waiting for it to be corrected in the
next release of Orion I firmware.
