I'm probably jumping in on an old topic but have a comment.
One of the lists I'm on (QRP??) suggested a Sennheiser
HD 202 head phone.
It's not a noise canceling unit and quite reasonable in
price. Was about $25 and extremely comfortable and great
hearing.
You might want to do a search for it .
