 Just happened to have printed out the instructions;
 RAM Clear
1--Hold down VFOB LCK button at power-up
2--Continue holding until Battery Failure appears on screen
3--Answer YES to Clear user memories
4--Answer YES to RESET Optional Filters
5--When radio screen appears, turn OFF and then ON
