Phil, I was sort of in the same quandry you are facing. Although I could afford
the Orion II, I really didn't want to have that much invested in a rig. I don't
operate on 6 meters, and I don't need to control the rig via the internet, so I
decided to go with a used Orion AT. Just to share with you my experience, I
have been extremely pleased with the Orion. It is really a fantastic rig
despite the occasional grumbling on the reflector. I am very happy having made
