Michael

when you hit the tune button on the Orion II it gives you 20 watts drive .You
have to hit the tune and then the pwr button to get the full output of the
Orion II to the AMP. then you will see the full output depending on where you
have your output wattage set . 1 to 100 watts

I am finding that the output drive from the Icom Pro
II produces better output to my Alpha 99 versus the
Orion II. THat is 35-38 watts from the PRO II. Only
diff is changing of the transceiver. I use a
Ameritron ARB-704 and a Nye Viking Tuner in the line.

What could be causing this to happen ??

I can consistently get 1500 out driving the Alpha 99.
Orion I do not get 1500.

Anyone else seen this ?? Is there a setting I am
missing with the Orion..

Please contact me offline if you have some
suggestions.
