I've been reading the postings on this list for a while and am getting ready to
take the plunge for either an Orion or Orion 2. The remaining questions that I
have are:
How good is the performance on 160 when in an area with many broadcast band
stations. My spectrum analyzer shows me that there are 4 very strong stations
in my area ranging from -6dBm to +2dBm which would reach the radio (at the end
of the transmission line connecting to the radio). In addition, W1AW is about
5 miles from my QTH and consistantly has an S9 +60 on 160, 80, and 40.
Are there any owners near the Hartford, CT area?
