Hi Steve. I find the Hercules II amp is particularly interesting. Some of 
them have brown plastic to match the Corsair II and, I guess, the Omni V. 
Others 
have black plastic to match the Omni VI and Paragon II. I suppose it's just 
product evolution. By the way, try one of the new black rubber trim pieces on 
the tuning knob of your Omni VI. You will like it.
