I sure would like to know the details of that fix, which in-line components, which traces, and which resistor.

I've had the same problem. Tried re-soldering the pins, helps for short period. Tried pulling hard on the knob, sometimes that gets it going, but I have to pull so hard I worry about hurting something. Tried cleaning pins, no joy.

It does work on its own if the radio is really warmed up. Every time I think of sending it to Ten Tec, it starts working. At Ten Tec they say every one that has come in for the problem, they had been unable to trigger the intermittent fault.

I had this problem until the rig went in for other work to be done (the usual replacement of C6, C7 and C9 on the power board). On a previous visit they had been unable to trigger the intermittent fault. However, as the fault became more permanent, they replaced inline components and pulled up resistor in the RIT control circuit, hard wired small sections of track involved and cleaned up the plug/sockets. Since then it's been fine.

Remember a number of comments on this subject. Mine stopped working...
sometimes it will bounce between 0 and -10 but that is about all. I can
set up the remote POD for RIT XIT and it works great from there....
pressing the front panel RIT control causes the proper clear. The RIT
XIT buttons come on as they should. Running 2.062a. Reloaded firmware
numerous times. Did RAM and Hardware RESETS numerous times as well.

For those who have experienced this.... what were your resolutions?
