Has anyone tried or considered this? Using the 1.8 kHz filter (TT 218)
in place of the 2.4 kHz main
filter in the first IF? CW only... This would allow three choices of
bandwidths instead of two. (1800, 1000,
and 500). A concern is if it would 'magnify' phase issues across the
'corner' of the bandpass and
cause the infamous microchirp to return.
