Good afternoon,The problem seems to have been the input filter, exactly why I have not figured out. I pulled that filter and put a jumper in its place and "bingo" no SWR on 40 (or the other bands) and full power out as it should. The "PI" filter (actually is more complicated than a PI - it has a third inductor and Capacitor to ground tapped from the middle of the inductor part of the PI. I imagine that part is designed to pull certain higher frequencies to ground. Now I want to modify it so that it will OP on 10 and 12 Meters. Has anyone gone through this MOD?
