Ron,
Do a master reset on your Orion II and then try reloading. I have had that
problem with my Jupiter and doing the reset as well as rebooting the
computer to be sure it was also "clean" corrected the problem.
Also go to Device Manager and look at Hardware. Make sure you have the
correct comm port. If you move the USC connection, it changes the comm port
number.
