That was a concern I had... using the existing RCA connectors might
not be possible (or practical).
Maybe an answer would be for Ten-Tec to punch a hole in the case where a good location for that IF output would be, and just fill it with a hole cover. That way, users who want to add the buffer amp will have a place to put the output, and the radio will still look nice and neat in the back. And perhaps Ten-Tec will offer an "upgrade" kit that would permit an owner to add the buffer without needing to void the warranty. 73 de Ray K2ULR FN20kg Warrington, PA |
