I am just like the scare crow in " wizard of oz " and I have a brain, the square root of the hypotenuse divided by Pie over 2.1.8.1 = the interference to a vertical caused by wires in the sky carrying electricity and the magnetically pull of the MOON!

I have the books and the programs... but I still need to learn how and
when to
use them. I studied Philosophy (and a little physics) in college...
I don't mind researching or learning, but I sometimes need a little
nudge in the right direction !

A local guy has shown me how to use the TLW program on one of the disks
that came with the ARRL Handbook... but I am still learning how to work
EZNEC+ and some other programs like it.

THANKS ! (I said... "nudge"... not "kick"...) ;-)

Happy Trails.

Richards,
Yes, there are transmission line calculators on a disk with the ARRL
Antenna Book. Sounds like you should treat yourself to investing in
one. There are some free transmission line programs around on the web
as well. Just use good old Google search.
