Absolutely, if you have the schematic, or a good eye, you can find the two 1N34 diodes used in the SWR sensing bridge circuit. With power off the rig, simply test them with the diode test or ohm meter ranges of a DMM or VOM. On diode test, you should get 0.3 Volts in one direction for a good germanium 1N34. With ohm meter, you get high resistance one direction, then reverse the test leads and you get a lower resistance for a good diode.

You get nothing for either test if the diode is open, or no voltage for a shorted diode, and a low resistance both directions of the probes for shorted diode.
