    Futurlec.com has a 0-200mA panel meter (model APM0A2) that sells for
about $10.  You can see it here: http://www.futurlec.com/Panel_Meters.shtml
The features are:
 
·         MU-45 Size
·         Mounting Hole: 45mm Diameter
·         Face: 58mm Wide, 52mm High
·         Long-Life Movement
·         Quality Construction
·         Shunt Included
 
It is basically a small 2 ¼ inch wide by 2 inch high meter.  I am thinking
it might fit into the place where the other meter was mounted by using a
homemade adapter plate.  It might be worth a try if you cannot find an
original.
