I don't know if it is still there, but the Univ. TX Amateur Radio Club
Web page had an RF Safety on line calculator. You certainly want to
apply that to the antenna over a pool with aluminum nearby. I think it
would fail RF safety rules if you used the amplifier. For NVIS, you
don't need more than 100 watts, and even that will also bring some skip
contacts at night on a NVIS antenna.
