I have an Orion that sounds funny until it warms up a bit...sounds like the
pll is drifting and then snaps back to feq and also sounds like it is on the
wrong sideband...after the rigs is on for about 5 minutes, it runs normally
after a reboot.
Until I get better information to diagnose the problem, I am thinking of putting a small pet heating pad underneath the rig when the Orion is off. Anyone try this before? I guess it would not hurt to leave the rig on all the time hooked up to a dummy load. _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
