Gary, thanks, I saw that.
I meant any special qualification such as "not wire wound", or only "carbon
resistors" or anything like that.
And another little problem is, you have to read the "417-A" manual to find
out what value the resistors are in the "417" amplifier. They forgot to
list those resistors in the 417 manual. I guess that's why those were the
ones that burned up!

A friend of mine has the Titan 3.
He bought it used.
R1, R2, and R3 in the tube pate cathode circuit have burned up.
They appear to be a different size than R4, R5, and R6 on the other tube.
Apparently they have been replaced before.
Is there anything special about these resistors, such as they cannot be wire
wound, etc.?
The only description is 12 Ohm, 2W.
