I WAS JUST SHOWING MY WIFE THE SHERWOOD LIST...

My young bride, Susan takes a real interest, and shares the pleasure of owning, the equipment in the shack. While she does not want a license, she does enjoy taking part in decisions that affect our holdings. For example, I recently purchased a Jupiter for a low bid, intending to merely spark interest in a rig offered for sale by the son of a local SK, and ended up buying it ... but Susan convinced me I should keep it and enjoy it, instead of reselling it. Yeah... she is a keeper.

Looking at the Sherwood list, she mentioned we own two of the top twelve rigs, and suggested it is really better than that because we should disregard the Perseus entry as it is just a receiver, and disregard the Hilberling rig because it is just too dad blamed expensive for nearly anyone to buy (at least until they make another million...) so that means we own two of the top ten. ;-)

She said it was nice to see Ten-Tec makes 4 of the top 10 rigs on the list. (4 of the top 8 if you disregard the Hilberling and Persues entries as per her previous comment.)

As we have harbor no animosity for the other brands, we find it significant 9 OF THE TOP 13 RIGS ON THE LIST ARE AMERICAN MADE.

Yeah... baby. In a difficult world economy, that looks pretty good to us.

And I thought the QST review of the Argonaut VI sounded pretty positive, too.

Yeah... just a few reasons to feel good today.
