Right on Roy, it is down and out class warfare - the peasants paid 50% of
the crops to the landlord, the land lord paid no taxes (Of course the
landlord was supposed to help out the peasant families and also defend
against other landlords, but basically, the serf or peasant just gets by
carrying the load.
While we are off on this tangent isn't TN, TX Ms, etc a member of the
welfare state group, that is the citizens of those states pay less in Fed
taxes than what the receive in federal roads, health, etc.?
I like paying taxes and enjoy the quality of services I'd even pay Tobin
taxes! You can't take it with you, Well, perhaps your favorite QRP rig....

So let's see, a guy making a million a year probably dispenses 30% of his
income, while a worker making 50K likely spends all. The millionaire pays
tax on a small percentage of his income, whilst the common worker pays on
nearly all of his.
