How do I join the din connector reflector? I have become excited about din
connectors, I think I will acquire one and run it on several bands. Wow, a new
and exciting hobby. 73, John, K5PGW

Ahhhhh....... where do you get that
Jim?  Various Ten-Tec, Elecraft, and Yaesu radios all
have Rx to Tx turnaround times of at least 16mS (Eagle) to
 36mS (FT5000) with other Ten-
Tec's and Elecraft in between.  Tx to Rx turnaround
times run 18mS (Orion II) to 66mS
(FT5000) again with other TT's and Elecrafts in between with
TT radios all being close to the
Orion II, others not so much.  Strangely, the ARRL did
not publish K3 Rx to Tx turnaround
time.   How is it that TT is going for the
 lowest common denominator?

Has anyone complained about poor QSK performance with a
 Ten-Tec rig?   Well....yes they
did!  In the early days of the Orion, TT ran into
latency issues with DSP as I recall.  They
worked that out as you can see.  Orion and other TT's
are the class of the field.

All that said, there is more to QSK operation than
turnaround times.  But that is for another
 discussion.
