Sad news indeed. Toby gave me some good tips on rig settings when I
purchased my ORION, of which he was an early adopter and firmware beta
tester.
In Feb. 2007, he advertised his Centurion 422B Amplifier for sale on this
forum with the stipulation that the buyer must travel to his home in
Johnson City, TN to disconnect and transport the gear, since Toby was not
able to lift and ship it himself. I took that offer and drove 5 hours from
Atlanta. I have his amp here in the shack today, working perfectly. A few
months later I decided I needed a 238B Tuner to complete my setup and gave
Toby a call -- he parted with his tuner and it's in service here as well.
He was a gentleman and will be missed.

Yes, this is very sad. I new Toby from meeting him several times at the
Tentec hamfest. He was a great guy and very humble.
