If you do determine that it's a bad relay, here's a write-up I made for myself
that will speed up the repair. By the way, don't try to figure out which one of
the pair is bad. Just change 'em both.
Ten Tec swaps them all out when they have a bad one. I can't see benefit to
doing that cuz who's to say how long the "new" ones have been sitting on a
shelf somewhere.
I only swap out the pair for the failing band(s) and most of my relays are
still the 18-year originals.
Some of the replacements have had to be replaced again.
Removal of the Omni VI Plus Low-PassFilter Board
1)Remove the top and bottom covers.
2)Remove the bottom “inner cover.”
3)Remove the top “inner cover.” (It’s along the back of the unit and includes
thespeaker plate)
4)Unplug J13 and J17, and remove the 3 screws at top the edge of the board.
5)Turn the unit over and unplug J8 and J14, and remove the 3 screws at the
bottomedge of the
board.
6)Cut the ty-wrap holding the J14 harness and the J17 coax. Also remove
thenearby double-
sided tape.
7)With the rig still upside down, remove the board far enough to unplug J12
andthen
J7, J9, and J11.
Note:To work on the board (i.e. Replace relays, etc.) the white coaxes can be
leftin place.

I’d check the output filters. The relays have a tendency to go kaput. If you
can
monitor DC input current, that would be helpful. If you’re drawing 15 amps and
getting 10 out, then output filters would be a good place to start.
You didn’t mention if it was on one band or all bands.
Try using the separate antenna input to see if your receiver comes back. That
jack bypass the filter board and swr/alc board.
