Lee: You might try CQRLog written in Ubuntu Linux. There are the DEB packages
that should work
for most all flavors on Linux. The rig control has the Eagle included and
should work for you as mine
does with the Omni VI+. The best I remember, there are a few things that you
might have to do to make
it run in Mint, but users have report CQRLog works for them.

Here is the link www.cqrlog.com That will let you look it over.

 Hello everyone,

Is anyone running linux and also
 using an eagle?

I'm trying but my laptop doesn't
 have a serial port.  I guess I
need a driver to make the radio connect via a usb port as in
 windows.
I've tried wine that isn't working too well.

The computer is only linux and
 isn't dual booted.

The operating system is linux mint
 17.3.

      Thank You,

      Lee,    N3LPJ
