Please understand, I have no lack of respect for Mr. Sherwood.

I read his very first articles back in the day when he was beginning his
tinkering with the Drake R-4C, a basically good (for its day) receiver begging
for the improvements Rob offered.

The heritage of his technical contributions is long and very useful. He has
made a positive impact on radio design by all of the manufacturers, by some
more than others, but still an impact.

That’s quite an achievement.
