Chris, Joe's comments before were perhaps a bit unfair, but I don't blame
him for that. It's been a while since we've had any deep technical
discussions.
Indeed, this is probably one of the best groups to ask technical questions
in. A lot of horse power hangs out here. Of course sometimes some
questions may fall through the cracks but in general you'll get some pretty
good technical support here...and not only on Ten-Tec technology.

I have a TS-820 that I literally brought back from the dead with the help of
the TS-520/820/530/830 group on yahoo. I'm happy to admit that I'm on the
pull-it-out-of-the-dumpster end of ham radio. I won't be calling TenTec
support or buying their new radios. Not that I don't want to, but I don't
have the resources to commit to that.
So, if there is a more appropriate place, just point me in the right
direction.
