I would like to thank everyone who helped me with my Paragon project. It now
puts out full power on all bands and frequencies. I have received great signal
reports on 20 meters even with the terrible propagation. However, there is
still one little annoying problem related to the power output problem. It's
weird and hard to explain, but here goes:

If I go to any 3 MHz frequency, (75/80 meters) VFO or memory , don't have to
transmit, then go to 14 MHz or above the output power drops way down to where
it was before repairs. However, I still have full output on 160, 80, 40 and 30
meters. If I put the VFO (A or B) on a 14 MHz frequency and turn off the radio
for a minute then turn it back on I have full output on all frequencies, until
I go to a 3 MHz frequency again.

Also I have a number of frequencies programed into memory. If I go through
Memory Tune (MT) to higher frequencies then turn off MT, as long as the VFO is
on a 14 MHz frequency I get full output on all frequencies again until I go to
a 3 MHz frequency.

During the course of the repair project I have replaced the Logic board
(cleared up other long standing problems), replaced the RAM-ROM -RTC board,
replaced the Ten Tec Chip with a Giehl chip and last but certainly not least I
replaced the Low Pass Filter Board, which fixed the low power out problem
except as stated above (before replacement I could not get full power out on
any band except 80 meters).

Does anyone have any suggestions?
