Tree, similar but different here last night.

N6TR/7 is 180 miles from me at a bearing of 226°. N7UA
is 140 miles away at a bearing of 284°. Both are on
the other side of the Cascade range from me. Sometimes
it seems like they are on a different continent. 

I didn't get on early enough to listen for the UA6.
PA0CLN never got good enough to copy. G3SED and the GM
station were good copy but neither could hear me. This
in spite of rather bad QRN on my end. Other EU's never
got above my noise. Why do European stations seem to
have so much more trouble hearing west coast USA than
we have hearing them?
