Once again, Europe made it into the log - but only just barely. OH1XX
stuck with it until we got a good QSB peak to exchange reports.
Yesterday, it was OH2BO. The day before that, it was OH1XX again and
the day before that I worked only UA9NN - 200 watts from Omsk.
Last night marked the return of the excellent pipeline between ZS and
the pacific northwest. This opening was a lot of fun 11 years ago when
I would work ZS4TX easily. I was calling CQ and this loud signal came
back - too loud for a European.... and it wasn't. It was ZS1REC.
Here is a recording of the tail end of our QSO:

Was disappointed not to work 5X1GS with conditions this good - but maybe
we can pull that QSO off in the next week.
Worked a handful of the usual suspects in Europe last night - but also
added UA4RZ as a first time QSO. I also heard RK3EK CQing both last
night and this morning - but he doesn't seem to be hearing very well.
