____Bill...I had the identical problem with a roof-mounted R7 (your
antenna's uncle).  RFI, particularly on 40 meters, actually disconnected my
telephone when I was the caller and popped toe gfi on an entirely different
circuit.
Solution:  it worked.  HRO (and I assume other outlets) sell for about $16 a
filter...the K-COM telephone interference filter.  You can choose between
the 3-30mhz or the 0.5-3mhz model.
Other flavors ar the two line filter, the coiled cord filter and the hard
wired job.
You simply plug the telephone into the filter and the line cord into the
other end and forget it.  Two neighbors have stopped compaining and it's
been 4 years now.  My YL can use any phone in the house and not lose her temper.
Youll get other suggestions.  Please publish the consensus. GL and 73
