Ham-II Rotor Anomaly

If you find the pot is the problem.
After disconnecting wires 3 and 7 from the control box, connect them 
together and connect the ohm meter from here to ground.  
If the pot is open on north and the wiper is contacting either half
the meter will peak at north and drop off going east or west.
Better than nothing until you can fix it.

Most likely here in the east it will be open on north east.  If so,
as you're rotating from west to east the resistance will rise to
about 315 or so and when going past the break it will jump down to
about 185 and continue going down as you rotate more to the south.
